Thoughts that might turn into blogs some day:
I took a personality test and it said that I was an ENFP. When I looked that up, a few lines jumped out at me, for better or for worse:
• They can talk their way in or out of anything.
• They're constantly aware and somewhat fearful of losing touch with themselves.
• They place no importance on detailed, maintenance-type tasks, and will frequently remain oblivious to these types of concerns.
• They have an amazing ability to intuitively perceive the truth about a person or situation, but when they apply judgment to their perception, they may jump to the wrong conclusions.
• Sometimes the ENFP will want to be their child's best friend, and at other times they will play the parental authoritarian.
• They have the ability to be quite productive with little supervision, as long as they are excited about what they're doing.
I had to make my lunch on frozen bread and it wrecked my whole morning. It also gave me visions of my dad doing this every morning when I was a kid and my mom saying “it will be fine by lunch hour.” As usual, mom was right. But it still made me grumpy.
This is the third year that the mole in the backyard has appeared. I make jokes about it and act like I don’t care. I hate that (insert inappropriate word) mole.
I visited another church on Sunday. I felt guilty with how much I loved the service. There was liturgy, and Rev. John Phiri from Sierra Leone was preaching, and the post game debrief was totally energizing.
I enjoy planting flowers in the garden every year with my children and starting vegatables from little seeds in planters, and I love weeding the garden. And I could mow the lawn every day.
Secretly I love white bread but we never buy it. But our retired neighbor is part of the “hospitality team” at her catholic church, and sometimes she brings us the leftover funeral sandwiches-which is always a bit weird-but once I get over that, I always eat the white ones first. And if there is a white one with salmon or tuna on it, they go before anything else.
I am addicted to pressure washing. Every time you go over something with a pressure washer, even something you just pressure washed, it gets cleaner and brighter.
My daughter listens to a significant amount of Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, and Taylor Swift. And I asked her to make me a CD because I like most of the music. I listened to it all day.
There are not many movies that I stay up late and watch on TV even if I could just rent the DVD, but last week Finding Forrester was on and we watched it. Other movies in the “I watch them with commercials.” A Few Good Men, The Great Escape, Shawshank Redemption, The Fugitive, Catch Me if You Can.
I so badly want to buy something from the ice cream truck that comes by our house every day, but I can't overcome the guilt. But I would buy a creamsicle if I could.

Dude - I'm an INFP! That means when we get into trouble I'll let you do the talking...
This gave me a much needed smile today!
My dad is pretty darn great and one of the things I love about him is he listened to all the trash I did growing up just because I was - its a bonus that you like it!
I also am addicted to pressure washing.
Hope life is treating you well Beim - miss seeing you at the church slo pitch league this year!
Katie
I'll send you a couple bucks. You can buy a creamsicle for me then accidently eat it yourself.
