On Watching Your Language, Redemption, and REDemption.

Musings that might turn to blogs some day:

Head over to JDub's blog at www.wrightsstuff.blogspot.com and check out his favorite words. The key thing here would be to actually spend the time reading his definitions. It is priceless. It gets even funnier when you say the words with a North Carolina "twang", and "twang" isn't the right word. It's not a twang and its not a drawl, it is something like a "twawl". JDub is money, both in the classroom and in the staff room. And he runs marathons. So, what we have is a East Coast American who speaks with a twawl while he runs marathons. I know. Scary. I told Joel he should donate his body to the BodyWorld exhibit going on at Science World, except he should do it while he is still alive.

Cara Straforelli is a former co-worker who met a guy named Henri the Great and they moved to France, which apparently has a high concentration of terrorists living there (and terrorists isn't another word for "American"...I think). I hope the title "Henri the Great" doesn't get him beat up. Anyways, in the past month her sister was involved in a horrific accident back in Portland and it looks like she might not ever walk again. They need your prayers, and not just tonight. Add to that the fact that this past week Cara (and Enri the Great) gave birth to a sweet child. Head over to http://randomattentiondisorder.typepad.com/blog/ and check that out. It is worth the read.

Mike Todd, permanent friend and long time thorn in my theological side, has struck again. Maybe you've heard about the whole "Red" campaign that Oprah and Bono are a part of. It requires you to get sucked into some serious consumerism in order to contribute money to third world issues. OR, you can head over to Mike's blog, not have to buy a red ipod, and still make a serious contribution to Africa. This guy absoloutely nails it with his post. http://miketodd.typepad.com/ Before you go, I just want to say that I warned you.

Thanks for the hook-up, Beims... and I promise I'll go easy on everyone.
