The Infinite Value of Delwyn's Life

From my sister Soph:

"Matt: This made me think of Delwyn and how much he is and was loved by Bev and her family. His life was of 'infinite value' to them."

"Some people live long lives, some die very young. Is a long life better than a short life? What truly counts is not the length of our lives but their quality. Jesus was in his early thirties when he was killed. Thérése de Lisieux was in her twenties when she died. Anne Frank was a teenager when she lost her life. But their short lives continue to bear fruit long after their deaths.

A long life is a blessing when it is well lived and leads to gratitude, wisdom, and sanctity. But some people can live truly full lives even when their years are few. As we see so many young people die of cancer and AIDS let us do everything possible to show our friends that, though their lives may be short, they are of infinite value."

Hey Mr. Beimers,
I'm really sorry to hear about your wife's brother. I'll be praying for you guys this week. I'm afraid there's not much I could say in this situation that could possibly make it any better (which, of course, is why we pray..cause God can find the words we never can)...but I thought I'd leave you with some words from a book that truly changed my outlook on all aspects of life, including death. (A book which you recommended to me, coincidently.)
"The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come in." From what you've written, it sounds like your wife's brother really got that. Remember to let the love live on.
"Death ends a life, not a relationship."

Keeping you in my prayers,
Krissi

I've just now read this Matt- it is so encouraging and brings me much perspective as I struggle to deal with the loss of life in the bombing of Maputo from an obsolute munitions dump 2 km from our centre. (see my comment on last entry or my blog for more details) I'll really be praying for all of you, and appreciate your prayers for us here also.

The portrayal of the type was so exact, so sure and thorough, that the leading characters in the cialis play were forgotten.. The horse seemed to be celebrex going faster than ever.. The statement which will be perhaps then cialis made, that he cannot concentrate his attention upon anything at all, is to be countered by assuring him most positively that such a blank state of mind is utterly impossible...
